Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, called the first module produced at Gangaikondan a major milestone in the company's growth journey. He also shared that the company has crossed 10 GW in global solar module deployment this year alone.
Looking ahead, the same site in Gangaikondan will eventually house solar cell, wafer, and ingot manufacturing too. That would make it a fully integrated solar production hub under one roof.
A Global Footprint
Vikram Solar, headquartered in Kolkata, already runs a business that spans 39 countries. Within India, it works with over 110 authorised distributors and more than 550 dealers. The company has also earned recognition as a top performer in PVEL's PV Module Reliability Scorecard, which is a solid stamp of approval in the solar industry.
The Stock Story
