The subsidy amount depends on the size of your solar system:
- 1 kW system: ₹30,000 subsidy
- 2 kW system: ₹60,000 subsidy
- 3 kW or more: ₹78,000 subsidy (maximum)
Electrical Executive Engineer Dhiraj Kumar Sinha shared that the goal is 100% rooftop solar coverage in these villages. He also mentioned that if the plan takes off well, the panchayat gets an extra grant for its own development. Camps will run twice a week to keep the momentum going.

Banks are offering loans at a low 7% interest rate for those who want to install solar panels but need financial support.
